Yay or Nay: Bedheads?

I've decided to boycott buying a bedhead when we move into our new place. The one we have now is WAY too limiting when it comes to colour choices, plus I think it makes the room look smaller.

What do you think?

    Wait and see how you go. It is always great to customise something for a new place, it is the most exciting part. It is also a reward for all that hard work packing and unpacking boxes.

    I don't understand what it really does. Do you? I want to saw off the timber bedhead on ours. The design, height and color is limiting.
