Easter Treat

I plan on taking a mini break from blogging over Easter to spend some time with the family. In the meantime, I hope the Easter Bunny spoils you rotten.

Need this in my life: water-colour goodness

Starting in the wardrobe department with this number...

Then, as a print hanging above my bed...

Finished with a few cushions for chillin' on the couch. You can buy this beauty, here.

The End.

Try something new Tuesday: DIY Art

No hot glue gun, scissors, or painting-skills required today, folks. All you need to do is keep your camera at the ready to snap some shots, like this cloud pic that's been enlarged on high quality paper and slipped into a good ol' IKEA frame. Yep, it's that easy.

I'm thinking it wouldn't look too bad in a kids room either...

Thanks for the inspiration, A Cup Of Jo.

Happy Hump Day

These past few weeks have been crazy busy with work, but this pic put everything in perspective.

Try Something New Tuesday: Painted Plates

This looks like cheap fun. Buy a bargain all-white dinner set, or pull out the mismatching pieces you've already got and brush up on your painting skills. LoveNordic Design

Nothing mellow about yellow

I'm a huge fan of yellow from way back. Subtle nods, like an alarm clock, lamp, or print, are all you need.

Good morning, sunshine!

I hope every morning this week starts off looking this good. Here's to a wonderful week ahead.

Friday On My Mind

I've been a very bad blogger this week. Too swamped with work, I haven't had much of a chance to show you any love, but I promise to make it up to you next week. In the meantime, enjoy the two days of rest ahead. 2 x 200

Try Something New Tuesday: Wall Snowflakes

Way more sentimental than a wall decal, I'm loving this idea of making snowflake-ish cutouts out of fancy wrapping paper for a nursery, or kids bedroom wall. You could get the kids to do them and frame them for (cheap) keepsake art.

You can stock up on cracking wallpaper for girls over at Love Mae and for the boys, Lox + Savvy, is where the magic is at.
