Obsessions for the week

My desk at work is like a highway for cool brands and online stores. Here are a few standouts you need to know about:

1. Therese Sennerholt, for the best black and white prints money can buy.

2. Online store Note Maker, official home of the most impressive stationary lines on earth.

3. Aussie brand, Cocomero's brand-spanking-new adventure into jewellery. I’ve used their Gem vases a million times over in shoots. The whole range oozes made-with-love-appeal, without being ridiculously expensive.

4. Donna Wilson, everything. When I was in London in September, her trays, melamine cups and plates were everywhere. I’m kicking myself that I didn't buy more of the stuff. Just looking at this plate makes me happy.

What's the time? Dinner time.

A couple of months back, I got the lucky task of styling SHOP til you drop Magazine’s first ever cookbook. And it’s a cracker even if I do say so myself. It came with the November 2010 issue but just in case you missed it, here are a few sneaky pages courtesy of the gang at Robert Gordon Australia. I used their stuff a fair bit throughout the book because quite frankly, their serving and bake-ware is the bomb. And yep, you guessed it, the milk bottle is an RGA baby, too. You can buy them here.

Homework for this evening...

The latest issue of online interiors mag, Rue has hit the virtual stands. With 297 pages, it's a whopper of an issue, so wait til you get home tonight to read it over a cuppa. Enjoy!

Time to make friends with: Blacklist Studio

A very clever, kind and incredibly talented stylist friend of mine who goes by the name of Jaynie, runs this really cool project, Blacklist Studio, where she makes limited edition graphic/modern/he’ll-love-them-just-as-much-as-you-will prints that I like to call 'affordable art.' Here’s a teaser from the latest summer 2011 range...

And you can buy this little ray of sunshine now, here .
