Snooping inside Keri Russell's NY home.

I always wondered where Felicity ended up. Seems she moved on to bigger and better things. Like renovating and decorating this NY brownstone of her dreams.

SPOTTED: The IKEA Ludde sheepskin sitting pretty on the floor in the pic above. And the best bit? It's only $69.95.

Love Is In The Air (again!)

My (#4) sister got engaged last night and we're all just a little giddy with excitement. Here's to lots of fun months of planning (and posts) ahead. Yippee! Congrats again, J & R.

In The Bag

The clever gang over at DOS Family which I blogged about a few months back over here, run a little What's In Your Bag Blog Tour which I love. I think it's because it makes me feel less silly about the amount of unnecessary 'stuff' I cart around on a daily basis.

Would you be game enough to show off what lives inside your handbag?

I dare you.

Snippets From The Studio...

I was prepping for a shoot recently and decided I'd play artist and whip up a little frame filler that went a little something like this...

THE INSPIRATION:
Home Is Where The Heart Is by Ilse Crawford (the brains behind the launch of UK Elle Decor back in the late '80s) and The Stylist's Guide To NYC, by Sibella Court.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
1 X CORNER OF A DROP SHEET
X 1 SCISSORS
X 1 PAGE FROM OLD NOVEL
x 1 THICK BLACK MARKER

THE (SUPER QUICK) HOW-TO:

THE END.

Dream On Dreamer

I was flicking through Aussie InStyle at the newsagent yesterday afternoon and this light-filled house caught my eye. Enough to make me buy the mag. Thanks Happy Mundane for sharing.

Mission Complete

I've been searching high and low for an ottoman like this number for an upcoming shoot and think I've found the perfect match. Good one, RawSpace! On a side note, props to the lad over at Old Brand New, for having such a cracking bedroom with such ridiculously great natural light. Love his style to bits.

And the best bit? She comes in 6 colours and can be all yours for just $149.95. You couldn't knit it for that!

Mr Stylish

I've been working in the same studio for the past few weeks with the talented Mr Jason Grant. Although we're working on different projects, it's been a blast having him around. Here are some shots he snapped the other day of bits and bobs that were lying around the studio floor which a) I'd never taken the time to notice and b) Tie in perfectly with my current neon obsession. Cue: Lux + Trip.

P.S. He's also about to launh a cracking limited edition collection for paint powerhouse Murobond, that you don't want to miss. For a sneak peak, click here.

Try Something New Tuesday: Braided Marni Bracelet

I (along with 387 million others) have a serious soft spot for all things neon at the moment. Case in point, my new pink Zara mini which I plan on dressing up with a few of these little bangle-jangles. Only problem is, I don't know where I'm going to find the spare time to make them. Any helpers?!

For the full run-down swing by Here.

Try Something New Thursday: Drawer-To-Wall Hooks

Oh. My. Golly. Gosh. Could this project be any easier? All you need are a few cheap pine drawer handles, a couple of tins of paint, and Bob's your uncle! I'd also throw in a few of those daggy finials (you know the decorative fixtures that get added to the end of curtain rods?!) to mix up the sizes.

Here's To A Fashionable Week

Australian Fashion Week officially kicks off today and for the second year in a row (geddit?!)I can't make it. Last year I was sick and this time around, I'm under the pump with a styling project, but the good news is, I've kept most of my invites from previous years and I'm thinking it's time to show them off on a pin board, or frame, a little something like this...
