Considering most Aussie kids are enjoying their last day of summer holidays today before school goes back on Monday, I thought this site, ReForm School, was suitably fitting. It's got Donna Wilson bits and bobs coming out of its ears, too-great-to-write-with pencils and loads more cool stuff, like this print, for only 60 big ones, that'll have you wishing you were back in grade 9 all over again.
I'm taking a much-needed break with my mum and sister to Hawaii for the next week and a bit. I'll be back on the 27th of January with more House Mad goodness. Mahalo!
I couldn't bring myself to blog about interiors this morning knowing that thousands of people living in Queensland have lost their homes in the floods. To find out how you can donate, please visit here.
This is one room you could most definitely share with your man. I've never been a huge fan of black leather lounges, but this picture may have just changed my mind for good.
I recently did an entire shoot on this concept. More on that later, but in the meantime, a line-up of cans moonlighting as vases along your dining table beats a predictable centre piece any day.
My dear friend over at To The Glamour Born is moving states and if I didn't already have a dining table in storage, I'd be snapping this puppy up. If you're in Sydney, you might want to consider checking it out. The sideboard goes alright too: To the glamour born: TTGB'sSharehouse Sale...
If you thought The Selby was the bomb diggity, meet your new obsession, An Afternoon With. I'm kicking myself I only discovered this site and all it fabulousness yesterday morning.
Getting back to my New Year post that was all about change, I decided to go freelance this year to write and style from home which means my office needs some serious prettying up. In my dreams, it looks a little something like this...
I watched Julianne Moore's latest film, The Kids Are Alright recentlyand whoever did the set design on that film nailed it. Here are some pics I've had on file for ages of her NY house. Apparently, she moonlights as an interior designer.
