Let's just pretend February is the new January, yeah?

Wowzers! It's been a while but gosh it's good to be back. I've been a busy-bee banging away at our new website, theEDIT (of course, you already know all about that because you read it first thing every morning before you even crack open the cereal box), last weekend my sister tied the knot with her high school sweet heart and one of my best friends also happened to welcome a baby boy into the world on the very same day. And... we're still nowhere near finished renovating. On the flip-side, it just means extra time to gather more homewares. Here are some bite-sized snaps of the month that was.

One can never have enough Hydrangeas. Or Carnations. Or Orchids. These beauties were left over from the wedding.

This place, The Book Depository , seems to be where I do most of my online shopping these days. The free shipping makes every order seem practically free.

Here's what's on my bedside table now:

Nail Art. I haven't worn glitter since I was about 14, but this stuff has me hooked. It's a topcoat packed with super fine glitter particles and polka dots that you can wear solo, or layered over a colour for kicks. The details: Nubar Black Polka Dot and it'll set you back around $13.20 and you can read all about it over here.

What's been happening in your neck of the woods?

  1. I love the Bookdepository too and I have ordered the Happiness Project but haven't had time to read it. The flowers are beautiful too x
