I know last weekend seems like forever ago now, but I just had to share these pics with you. One of my best friends, Jess, tied the knot last Saturday in a sweet little place called Gerringong on the south coast of NSW. We made a long weekend of it and here are some shots of the ah-may-sing beach house we stayed at.
Pretty cute, huh?
The view from our side gate...
The view from the front door wasn't too bad either...
Now for the decorating...
Then, to top if off, we headed to the day spa at Bellachara for some pampering in the form of a Payot Facial. My it was divine.
Since I stopped working full-time in magazines late last year, I've fallen head-over-heels in love all over again with print. I guess its because now I've got the time to devour every single page.
As a little end-of-the-week treat to moi, today, I subscribed to Anthology and Spanish 'every-day' interiors mag, Apartamento.
I want to give the creators of this site, 20 x 200, a big fat hug. Seriously, where can you can pick up prints and photographs for around 20 bucks these days?
My order looks a little something like this...
There motto is this: (limited editions x low prices) + the internet = art for everyone.
"Every single print is delivered with a numbered certificate of authenticity that is signed by the artist, the artist's bio and statement, and instructions for caring for your print."
Throw out that daggy cork board, because embroidery hoops are in the house! I did a shoot like this last year, with a cluster of embroidery hoops covered in Liberty print as a wall feature, but I never in a million years would have thought to use them as a notice board. And the best bit? They cost near nothing to make. You can jump some hoops, here, for next to nothing.
One of my nearest and dearest friends, Jess, married the love of her life yesterday. I wish them a lifetime of joy, adventures and a ton of happiness. Big love to you both.
In my wildest dreams, I wear Celine top-to-toe. Except, before I even had time to register the clothes and bags in these shots, the little frustrated interior decorator that lives inside my head said, "Forget about the handbags lady, this range could make the perfect room!"
And he's so right. Just imagine all that orange, pink and blue fabulousness in cushion form? Heaven!
Like wine and cheese, fashion and interiors go hand-in-hand. This blog, The Coveteur goes inside the wardrobes and homes of stylists, designers, publicists and fashion editors, to see what they're currently coveting.
Think ah-may-sing clothes, sky-high heels and fabulous flea market finds and you get the pretty picture.
