Discovery of the day

One of my very stylish office buddies sent me a link this morning to Paul & Joe which aside from their beautiful, expensive clothes, also happens to be home to the prettiest screen savers to date. Yes, you read right, screen savers.

The pink one is guaranteed to boost productivity by 87%.

Obsessions for the week

My best friend just bought an apartment (congrats, Kate!) and these cushions have her name written all over them.

2. Able and Game

Best. Cards. Ever. They do great birthday and greeting cards, so naturally their Christmas collection is off the charts.

3. dedeceplus.com

From vases, to bookends, cups, to lights, this virtual joint is packed to the rafters with great homeware pieces and gift ideas that boast just the right amount of quirkiness. I could easily see myself making friends with these metallic numbers over Christmas...

4. Sh*t My Dad Says by Justin Halpern.

Witty, embarrassing and too-close-to-home in parts, buy it for a quick, cheap laugh.

Proud Parent Moment

Big thanks to my friend, Lou over at Table Tonic for including House Mad in her list of top blog discoveries for the week. If you haven't read her blog already, go there right now. It's the bomb.

So young, so cool, so stylish, it hurts.

Welcome to the Manhattan apartment of model Coco Rocha and her artist hubby, James Conran. A match made in heaven, together, they've got a serious soft spot for vintage finds.

One to bookmark: Emerald and Ella

If I could be the master of my own online shop, this is exactly how I'd like it to be: Emerald and Ella. Seriously, everything is beautiful x 100.

Obsessions for the week

My desk at work is like a highway for cool brands and online stores. Here are a few standouts you need to know about:

1. Therese Sennerholt, for the best black and white prints money can buy.

2. Online store Note Maker, official home of the most impressive stationary lines on earth.

3. Aussie brand, Cocomero's brand-spanking-new adventure into jewellery. I’ve used their Gem vases a million times over in shoots. The whole range oozes made-with-love-appeal, without being ridiculously expensive.

4. Donna Wilson, everything. When I was in London in September, her trays, melamine cups and plates were everywhere. I’m kicking myself that I didn't buy more of the stuff. Just looking at this plate makes me happy.
