News Alert: Est e-magazine has launched. Are we spoilt for choice, or what?
Thanks for the tip off, Decor8.

Winter Wonderland
If you haven't met Aussie label, Gorman yet, you need to make friends with her. Stat. Can you imagine how off-the-charts fabulous all these fabrics would look worked into a room?

Try something new Tuesday: Rock Art
My little nephew, Cooper, 'gave' me a rock last year for my birthday. I use it as a door stopper at the moment, but this pic has inspired me to get the paint out. Thanks for the inspiration, Veronica Loves Archie.

DIY Desk and coffee table
I love hairpin legs. Full Stop. And now, thanks to this post over at Silvia Song, I know I am going to own either a coffee table, or desk with them one day. Seriously, how dead-easy does this look?
All you need is the surface and you can pick up the hairpin legs in a host of different sizes over at, Hairpin Legs. Too easy.

Ombre, I love you.
Take a look at these napkins. They've got wedding, baby shower, high tea and picnic in the park written all-over them.
To my incredibly artistic Mum, if you're reading this, I'd like a set of twelve made up of purple, pink, orange, and blue, puh-leeze.

Part Two: Really Affordable Art (plus a little shameless self promotion)
Whenever I see an email pop up from Penny Farthing Design House, my heart flutters. But this afternoon, when I mosied on over to the site to check out their latest works of art, it literally skipped a beat.
In case you're wondering, PFDH is the love child of the talented Alice Flynn, who kindly allowed me to shoot her house for SHOP Til You Drop Magazine, which Louise, over at Table Tonic happened to blog about this morning (along with a heap of other incredible Aussie homes that I've had the joy of styling for the mag). Talk about timing!
Now here's the shameless self promotion part: If you'd like to see some of my handi work for the mag, head over to Table Tonic and follow the links.

Take your lunch from home for the next month and buy this screen print instead, please. It's the smartest $220 you could ever spend.

Dream-boat Decorating
You know how I was banging on about the virtues of white walls and floors last week? Well, check out this house.
P.S The chair from yesterday's Try Something New Tuesday post also lives here.
Is this the definition of decorating perfection, or what?

Thanks again, Maurice and King for great spotting.

Try something new Tuesday: Colourful. Ish. Chairs
Here's an easy-as way to give a beloved bentwood (or any chair, really), some lovin'. All you need is a lick of white paint and an out-there-colour on its heels and you're cooking with gas.
